Leading Acoustic Rubber Flooring Suppliers
Rubber is a fantastic noise dampener. Effortlessly, the A1-resilient flooring retains the natural acoustic properties of the rubber it’s made from, making it suitable for a wide range of applications where auditory performance can be an added benefit.
Here at Novaproducts, we are proud suppliers of AcoustaMat acoustic underlays. AcoustaMat products have been individually tested at the CSIRO Laboratory in Melbourne in accordance with the requirements of ISO 140-8 – Part 8: “Measurement for the reduction in transmitted impact noise by floor coverings on a standard floor. AcoustaMat also complies with ISO 140-6 “Measurement of sound insulation in buildings and building elements – Part 6: Laboratory measurement of sound insulation of floors.”
All products were tested at the CSIRO, which employed a 150mm concrete slab only at the time of testing. The source and transfer from one level to another varies in accordance with each individual building construction.
AcoustaMat rubber flooring is specifically designed for the reduction of impact sound to suit both concrete and timber surfaces. Their products have been specifically engineered to meet the acoustical requirements for all common construction and installation methods.
AcoustaMat products are proven to suit to a wide range of finished flooring including rubber, timber, laminate, bamboo, ceramics, vinyl, carpet and can be laid in wet areas when installed with a compatible waterproof membrane system.
A1 Rubber’s acoustic flooring products have been independently Green Tag certified. Green Tag is a green building product certification system accredited by the Green Building Council of Australia. Extensive testing, performed independent of the supplier, ensures you can be confident that a Green Tag Certified product is one that you can trust.
This acoustic flooring product that has been manufactured using approximately 30% re-grinded rubber. Acoustamat 850RG is the recommended underlay for carpeted applications, and can be used in conjunction with carpet underlays where required. The higher density allows for effective results at a minimum thickness, keeping a low build height when used with carpet underlay. The 850 is exactly the same product as the 720 without the cork and provides a higher density product.
The AcoustaMat 720 (Temporarily removed from range)
Please see the AcoustaMat 850. (The 850 is exactly the same product without the cork and provides a higher density product.) These density cork/rubber products are recommended under floor types where extreme point loading (heavy objects) may be an issue e.g. for direct stick tile, parquetry and vinyl application. These product formulas contain 30% of a 4mm granulated cork to act as stabilising piers when heavy loads are applied. Permanent resilient elasticity at a recycled price ensures AcoustaMat it is the right choice for every application.
